Bon-Gah is a non-profit founded in 2004 as an independent art book publishing house, and has evolved into a wider project driven by a group of artists. While the initiative mainly focuses on visual arts and innovative projects created by artists, the organization has also expanded into literature and its relationship with the visual arts.

Since 2012, Bon-Gah has hosted numerous art related events, primed a ground for collaborative projects and exchanges, and participated in book fairs such as Miss Read in Berlin and Fully Booked in Dubai.

At the organization’s multi-functional space in Karasht, located in the suburbs of Tehran, provides studio space to a wide range of artists who are committed to their practice.  Bon-gah hopes to continue providing an alternative place for contemporary creatives and expand its community beyond practices, media and borders.
